The Console guide

How to start, what the numbers mean and where each one comes from.

Quick start

Open the Console to see every HIP-4 market from every deployer, with its live book, its settlement rules and, where one is available, a fair line. You can browse without an account or a wallet.

To trade, connect a wallet and choose Enable trading. Your wallet asks you to sign two approvals: first a trading key for this browser (Hyperliquid calls this an API wallet), then the builder fee. Your wallet shows them as Arbitrum One signatures, but nothing is sent on-chain and no gas is spent. The key can place and cancel orders for your wallet for 179 days; it cannot withdraw or transfer funds. Turn trading off from the wallet menu at any time.

Alerts need a sign-in as well: one more signature, which costs nothing and cannot place trades.

OPEN THE CONSOLE

Orders and fees

The ticket takes buy or sell, the outcome, a size in shares or dollars, and a limit price. Post-only is the default: the order rests on the book at your limit price and never takes liquidity. If you choose Immediate instead, the order fills right away against the book up to a maximum slippage, and any part that does not fill is cancelled. Shares are whole numbers, and Hyperliquid's minimum order value applies.

Before you sign, the ticket shows the average price, Hyperliquid's fee, the deployer's fee, the builder fee, the total and the edge after fees. When the same question trades on several deployers, it shows how the order splits across their books. A review step comes last; the order is then signed in this browser and sent straight to Hyperliquid.

The builder fee is 0.10% on sells, and your wallet approves that exact rate once. Every order carries its own ID. If no response comes back from Hyperliquid, the Console checks whether the order arrived before sending anything again, so the same order is not placed twice.

Same, Close, Different

Same: no difference was found in the resolution source, cut-off, threshold or void rules. Close: both markets ask about the same underlying event, but at least one of those terms differs. Different: not the same question, so the prices are not compared and no edge is shown. Only Same matches feed a fair line. Each difference is listed with the wording of both markets.

A grade compares written rules; two venues can still settle a Same pair differently. A fair line is an estimate and can be wrong.

How the data flows

HIP-4 booksFair lines + rule matchingConsole + your signature

The server follows every live HIP-4 outcome on Hyperliquid over WebSocket: books, trades, new listings within about a second, and settlements with their winning side. It checks the full market list against Hyperliquid every five minutes.

Fair lines for price markets come from options surfaces on Deribit, Bybit and CBOE and from Hyperliquid perp prices. Sports and events use matching Polymarket and Kalshi quotes. Rule matching finds the same question on other deployers, Polymarket and Kalshi, and records every difference it finds. Edges are counted after every fee, including the fee Hyperliquid takes from the payout when a market settles.

Your account (balances, positions, open orders and the fee approval) is read from Hyperliquid in your browser. To value your positions against live prices, the Console sends them to our server, which keeps nothing. Orders are signed in your browser and sent straight to Hyperliquid, and our servers never see your trading key. If you are signed in, the Console also keeps a record of each order it sends, as the privacy notice describes.

MCP for agents

AI agents can read the same markets over a free, read-only MCP server: odds_markets lists markets, odds_cluster shows one question across deployers, odds_fair gives a fair line with its sources, and odds_new gives the most recently listed markets. No key or sign-up is needed, and no tool can trade or access an account. The examples below use each tool's real response format with illustrative values.

CONNECT A CLIENT

What your browser keeps

The Console stores a few things in this browser: your starred markets (hyperodds-watchlist), your theme, light or night (hyperodds-theme), your language (hyperodds-locale), your Markets view (hyperodds-market-mode, also saved as a cookie so the page opens in that view) and whether you closed the welcome guide (hyperodds-guide-dismissed). The wallet connection is remembered so it can reconnect.

Enabling trading stores the trading key for that wallet under hyperodds:agent:<network>:<wallet>. It never leaves this browser. Signing in for alerts sets a session cookie for 30 days. To remove all of it, first turn trading off from the wallet menu so the key is also revoked on Hyperliquid, then clear this site's data.

Keyboard controls

In Markets, press / to search, j and k to move through the list, Enter to open the selected market, and b or s to open the ticket to buy or sell it. Press g followed by s, n, e, p or a to go to Markets, New listings, Today's edges, Portfolio or Alerts, and press ? to see every shortcut. Escape closes a dialog or leaves the search box. Arrow keys move between roadmap tabs. Every control also works with Tab and Enter.
